David Clements is the professor who lost his job and almost his law license for defying the COVID panic and exposing election fraud in 2020. He’s the specialist on how and why the electronic voting systems in place across much of the country are insecure, and easy to hack. He also does legal defense for some of the most unjustly persecuted January 6 defendants. The Stream’s John Zmirak interviewed him to find out how Trump managed to win overwhelmingly despite ongoing election fraud, and to ask about the dubious counting of votes in close House and Senate races, whose outcome might cripple Trump’s ability to govern.

Transcript excerpts

Attorney David Clements describes the history of mail in ballots (MIB) which includes the fact that Republicans have used that pathway in significant numbers prior to the 2020 election. President Trump did not encourage its use leading up to the 2020 election, but he supported it prior to the 2024 election.

“And so the data did not align with the narrative.”

In 2020 the Democrats planted a seed that early in 2020 up to the election that Democrats prefer to vote early with MIBs, and the Republicans did not which was contrary to the natural history of MIBs.

David Clements research this voting history in his state of New Mexico looking back 30 years. He found that there was no significant difference between Democrat and republican use of MIBs in New Mexico over a 30-year period.

So, the narrative did not “align” with the history of MIB voting.

The next step in 20-20 was the propose that there was no reason to not wait and count the MIBS “cast early” to be counted at the “very end”.

“…after the next 10 days of counting votes, what do you know, Biden won…”

Early into the 2024 election period, Trump supported the “too big to rig:” campaign and the Republican voters responded by coming out and voting early using MIBS. And, they did early MIB voting “at a pace that far exceeded what the Democrats were doing in 2020”.
