Most Americans know that remdesivir was granted EUA authorization by the FDA for adults and children for the treatment of COVID-19 patients and then later fully approved for both adults, and children as young as 28 days old. What most Americans don’t know is that remdesivir is a dangerous drug that failed clinical trials in the treatment of Ebola, with over half of the patients dying.
Even the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted research showing that remdesivir does not reduce mortality or the duration of illness in COVID-19 patients, yet despite this shoddy track record, top American health officials continue to recommend the use of remdesivir in COVID-19 patients, and most hospitals prescribe it to their patients. Daily Clout and HFDF sent a letter to Ascension, an American hospital system, reminding them of the damning research on remdesivir and informing them of a lawsuit being prepared against the FDA and other regulators to challenge their continued recommendation of remdesivir.
